FOPAC Maschinenbau GmbH, Barßel

FOPAC Maschinenbau GmbH is an independently operating subsidiary of FOCKE & CO based in Northern Germany and established more than 30 years ago.

The previous company, the Barßeler Maschinenbau GmbH, had maintained close business contacts with FOCKE & CO since the sixties and seventies. The economic climate led to the takeover by FOCKE & CO in 1976 and integration in the group as the FOPAC Maschinenbau GmbH. Since then the former supplier company has become an autonomous and independently operating machine construction company.

Steady growth led to an increase in workforce from 40 to today's 300. The company site comprises around 20,000 square metres; the four manufacturing halls cover approximately 12,000 square metres.

In the group, FOPAC is responsible for “General Packaging”.
